The 'Very Cavallari' Trailer Is Here & 'Laguna Beach' Fans Won't Be Disappointed

If you're desperate for a new reality show to binge watch, E! has just the thing: Very Cavallari, a new show that follows the life of former Laguna Beach and The Hills star Kristin Cavallari. Things may be a little different for Cavallari now than they were during her Laguna days — she has kids, a husband, and goals much larger than destroying Lauren Conrad's love life — but the Very Cavallari trailer promises plenty of drama and hookups, so fans of the reality TV villain won't be disappointed. Get ready to say WWKD (What Would Kristin Do) all summer long, because Very Cavallari is about to be your new obsession.
Very Cavallari follows Cavallari as she adjusts to life in her new home, Nashville, with her husband, Jay Cutler, and their three kids. "Very married, very ambitious, and very boss!" the trailer teases. Expect a heavy dose of Kardashian-style family drama, especially with Cutler, who just finished a long career in the NFL, and some classic "how do I balance my personal life with my mom life" tension — two things that make any reality show ah-mazing. Maybe, if we're lucky, Cavallari will also give us some behind-the-scenes dirt about her time on Laguna Beach and The Hills. Even all these years later, I still live for drama about The Hills, so you know I'll be keeping my ears perked for even the smallest bit of gossip. And who does gossip better than Cavallari?
E! Entertainment on YouTube
Apart from showcasing her new role as mom and husband (rather than sh*t starter, Cavallari's unofficial role during her time on MTV), Very Cavallari will follow the reality star as she opens a brick-and-mortar store for her lifestyle brand, Uncommon James. Enter the supporting characters, who will fill out the show's time with messy love triangles, hookups that make Cavallari reminisce on her past life, and squabbles about the store's opening. "I started building this lifestyle brand," Cavallari says in the trailer. "I have the craziest staff. Of course there's going to be drama, of course there's going to be hookups." While the trailer only briefly shows Cavallari's "crazy staff," there are at least three people you should expect to see on the show: Shannon, Cavallari's social media director, Brittany, the store manager, and Regan, the office manager.
Cavallari may not be new to reality TV, but she is new to the retail game. The star started Uncommon James in 2017 as a simple accessories line, but in the year since, the brand has grown to include home goods like salad tongs, dishes, and wine glasses (y'know, classic "lifestyle brand" stuff). The Nashville store will be the brand's flagship location, so even though the overall tone seems pretty easy, breezy, beautiful, there's a lot at stake for Cavallari. Add the stress of opening her first store to the stiff competition she'll face from well-established brands like Frye, Urban Outfitters, and even Reese Witherspoon's Draper James and you've got yourself one heck of a reality series.
Cavallari has moved around a lot because of Cutler's NFL career (the couple has lived in Chicago, Miami, and now Nashville since they were married in 2012), but she insists that Nashville is the family's final stop. In April 2017, Cavallari told People that despite the constant moves, relocating to Nashville "has always been the plan" and that she hopes to stay there "for a very long time, if not forever." She added:
Jay went to Vanderbilt [University], and actually the first weekend we ever hung out, we went to Nashville, and I fell in love with Nashville. So we actually bought our house, I think we had been dating for a year — we had just gotten engaged — and so we’ve had our house for about six years, and this has just always been the plan.
I wonder if Very Cavallari has always been the plan, too? Knowing Cavallari, the answer is probably yes.
Very Cavallari premieres on E! this summer.

Summer 2018 Color Trends Are All About The Super Sweet & The Uber Bright

By
SHARE
With each new season comes a new batch of hues that absolutely take over the fashion world. And this time, they're lovelier than ever. Summer 2018 color trends are what bright, dreamy, ethereal dreams are made of, so get ready to swap your edgy darks for some super sweet alternatives.
Typically, trending colors are determined by what walks down the high fashion runways for each respective season. This summer, it's no different. But what made the spring/ summer 2018 runways so unique was that colors took shape in head-to-toe form across the board. Whereas they typically might appear in the form of a skirt here, a shirt, or a jacket there, this time, they constituted entire looks — and lots of them. Wearing one solid color is in itself a trend this season (think of it as the Canadian tuxedo 2.0), which is even more reason to know exactly which hues you should be eyeing on any upcoming shopping sprees.
If you're into wearing a lot of pastels and various shades of pink, you're in luck. Soft, powderpuff hues are what it's all about for summer, which means you should make like your 2005 self and invest in a healthy collection of pastel denim. If bright, vivid shades are more your style, you'll also be happy. Two of the trending colors will literally blind you.

Soft Lilac

JP Yim/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images
Designers including Victoria Beckham, Tibi, and Michael Kors championed this hue by sending models down their runways swathed in the floral shade. To me, lilac is the ultimate ethereal color (for some reason it makes me think of lands "far, far away...") and one I can't wait to try out. I'll be looking for an uber soft knit tank top to wear with a pair of trending denim and some white-heeled booties.

Bubblegum Pink

Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images
Is this 2018's version of millennial pink? Maybe, and I am into it. Celebrities including Emma Roberts, Lucy Hale, and Kim Kardashian West have all embraced the color through beauty as of late by dying their hair a rosy hue, but wearing it is decidedly less of a commitment. To me, pink has been reclaimed as a symbol of female empowerment and strength and I will definitely be wearing it proudly this summer. You can draw outfit inspiration from the spring runways of Lanvin, Marchesa, and Prabal Gurung.

Cinderella Blue

Purple, pink, and blue make the ultimate trifecta. As done by Carolina Herrera, John Galliano, Ralph & Russo, and more, head-to-toe powder blue is also having a moment. This color is especially wearable, as light-wash denim fits into this category. For once, getting the blues is a good thing.

Ultra Violet

Vittorio Zunino Celotto/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images
Pantone named ultra violet the 2018 color of the year, so it's no surprise that the bright — literally! — hue has found its way onto this list. Championed by brands including Gucci, Moschino, and Salvatore Ferragamo, it screams confidence and is royal AF. If you're looking to make a major statement, this one's for you.

Sunshine Yellow

Slaven Vlasic/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images
I LOVE this color. Looking at it immediately makes my joy level increase exponentially and it looks amazing when paired with pretty much every other shade on the spectrum. The color of smiley faces, bananas, and sunflowers, it represents some of the happiest and best things on earth, so why not swath yourself in it? If it's good enough for Oscar de la Renta, Tom Ford, and Trussardi, it's certainly good enough for me.

Cherry Red

JP Yim/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images
Bright red will always be a classic. Who doesn't want to look like that iconic dancing lady emoji? It's a color that, to me, represents passion, glamour, and effortless cool — 3.1 Phillip Lim, Alexander McQueen, and Victoria Beckham made it even cooler.

Here's What Your Favorite Self Care Routine Reveals About Your Personality

By
SHARE
In a world that never fully turns itself off (hello, mid-sleep phone vibrate telling me what my friends are doing in New York at 2 a.m.), it's endlessly important to take time to treat yourself on a routine basis, no matter how busy you are. Everyone has their own favorite way to treat themselves, and chances are, your favorite self-care routine reveals something about your personality. It may not be a defining feature of who you are, but I'm willing to bet it definitely says a little something about what makes you tick.
Whether you love spending your downtime with friends, or you're more into dedicating an entire weekend to being on your own and seeing literally nobody until Monday morning, the way you choose to take care of yourself can speak volumes about what matters most to you, and how you define physical, mental, and spiritual health.
If you're an extrovert, it's likely that your idea of self-care isn't being alone for a full weekend. Similarly, an introvert might find anything outside of their apartment to be the polar opposite of self-care. But the truth is that most of us probably live within the two extremes of this spectrum, and therefore, might not be able to identify ourselves as well.
To help you in the never-ending journey that is self-awareness, here are six self-care routines and what they might say about your personality.

If You're Always Doing A Weekly Face Mask

Giphy
As a weekly face-masker (join the club, we have jackets), you love to primp, but you're also a fan of a good, solid schedule. A 10- to 15-minute face mask is an easy way to feel luxurious as hell, without suddenly worrying about how much time you've lost.
Plus, you can seriously multi-task with a face mask. If you're constantly trying to find time to get all of the things done that you want to in a day, then it's no wonder that a face mask is your go-to move.

If You're All About Whitening Your Teeth

Giphy
Teeth-whitening trays are a serious investment, in both your time and your finances. If you're a lover of self-care routines like teeth-whitening trays or strips, then you're the type of person who thinks in marathons instead of sprints.
You're not just here for the present; you're also working to give yourself the future that you want. And if that future includes some seriously pearly whites, then it's even better.

If You're Dedicated To Your Three-Part, Facial-Cleansing Routine

Giphy
Facial cleanser, toner, and moisturizer — it's as easy as rinse, lather, repeat, and even though it usually turns into a daily routine, it can be a super easy self-care routine that makes you feel genuinely excited to start and end your day.
If you're the type of person who likes to make the little things extra special, like turning daily errands into mini, treat-yourself moments, then you're a total optimist. Taking care of yourself doesn't have to be a big event, and you know that, which is why you treat every day like an opportunity.

If You're Into Fancy, Full-Body Massages

Giphy
Just because there are small ways to enjoy your life, doesn't mean that the big ways are any less fantastic. There's nothing quite like an intense, deep-muscle massage to make you feel like you've been born again into this world, and if you're the type of person who's willing to shell out the big bucks for a massage, then you firmly believe in the importance of investing in yourself and your well-being.
Whether it's an extra foamy latte, or paying extra to go to the movie theatre with the reclining seats, you believe that, yes, these little decisions may cost a little more, but the impact they make on your life is worth it. Self-care is, in your opinion, the most important investment a person can make.

If Your Self-Care Is A Long, Sweaty Workout

Giphy
If you're a fan of a quick, anaerobic sprint sesh as a form of treating yourself, then you like to keep things simple — real simple. And what's simpler than endorphins as a self-care solution?
Working out can basically solve all of your problems, and you're the type of person to give advice about "sweating it out" to a friend who's going through a tough time.

If Your Self-Care Go-To Is A Glass Of Wine And A Movie

Giphy
Not all heroes wear capes, and not all self-care routines are necessarily about face wash or workout classes. Sometimes a glass (or three) of wine and a movie with friends is the best form of self-you can get — especially if you're the type of person who loves nothing more than to get snuggly at home with the people you love.
Simplicity is important to you, and so are the people in your life. So pull out the wine-opener, and have yourself a night.

9 Festival Temporary Tattoos To Get Last-Minute So You're Glowing At Coachella

By
SHARE
Spring isn't the only season that's sprung, and you're ready to have the time of your life this weekend at a festival. You bought your tickets what seems to be years ago, but now it's finally here! You and your besties are waiting for the work week to be over, and jet-setting as soon as possible. That Friday feeling takes on a whole new level when there's memories this legendary to be made. Odds are, you've already pack all your outfits and accessories. You're looking to stand out in the crowd, and these festival temporary tattoos might just be the last-minute thing you need to get so that you're totally glowing at Coachella.
Seriously, nothing adds a little bit of sparkle to your outfit better than a flash tattoo. You're already going to be in such a golden state of mind thanks to all of the music, so why not seal the stylish deal? Maybe you'll even get a real tattoo during this unreal weekend to commemorate such an amazing time surrounded by your squad.
Some will be stars to speak to the moon child in you, and others will be colorful prints that bring out your free-spirited side. Music festivals shine such a spotlight on fashion, and you'll see a thousand girls in flower crowns and the like while you're there. You know that the chances your favorite artist will see you in the crowd are slim, but with one of these 10 flash tattoos, you'll stand a fighting chance. Did somebody say glow up?

1Sparkling Stars

Urban Outfitters
This weekend you'll be seeing stars — and I'm not just talking about the ones in the sky that illuminate the night like the neon lights from the stage. If you're lucky, you'll be in the presence on Beyoncé and Eminem, and all of those artists that you've only ever seen from the other side of your television screen while you were watching the Grammys. So, you'll want to purchase a pack of these temporary tattoos shaped like stars, so that you can fit in with such a stellar crowd. Put them in the corners of your eyes, or down your wrist to shine just a bit brighter.

2A Set Of Arrows

Forever21
You're so looking forward to this weekend, so be sure to sport a set of arrows as temporary tattoos to always keep you in that mindset. The truth about music festivals (that they don't tell you on social media), is that the days are actually really long. You'll be on your feet for awhile, and probably need to stop for at least a few water breaks throughout the afternoon. Your adrenaline will surely keep you going well into the shows that last through midnight, but you're bound to get tired at some point, too. These arrows will keep your spirits oh-so-high.

3A Floating Feather

Flash Tattoos
You and your besties are going to be birds of a feather this weekend, floating around this festival. Music has a way of bringing out the best in all of us sometimes, and you'll be in your element surrounded by fans who know all your favorites, too. In fact, you'll meet a lot of people just by starting conversations over the unknown acts that take the stage before the big headliners. Those shows are worth seeing as well, and you won't want to sleep on getting to the venue a bit early and snagging a prime spot. A feather will keep you free-spirited throughout it all, because let's be honest, crowds aren't always ideal.

4Peace Signs

Flash Tattoos
Peace and love, am I right? This weekend is going to be rosy, and not just because of the rose-colored lenses in your sunglasses that bring out all the John Lennon vibes in you. Despite the chaos of the crowd, everybody is coming together for one thing — music. You'll be overwhelmed a bit by how beautiful that fact is, and how you can feel it in the atmosphere. Imagine any concert or show you've ever been to, when everybody puts their lighters and flashlights up and waves them in the air. In that moment, everything is seemingly so OK. These flash tattoos will instantly put you in that feel-good mood.

5Boho Bracelets

Flash Tattoos
Put all of those bracelets and bangles away for a day, and break out some bohemian flash tattoos instead. You'll be accessorizing in all sorts of ways this weekend. Maybe you invested in a flower crown, or a big hat that will also block out that summer sun. You've put a lot of thought and time on Pinterest into creating the perfect look for each day. But, you also don't want to be bogged down in the desert. These boho bands will take the place of all that chunky jewelry you were considering, and add something a bit cosmic to your style, too.

6Colorful Flowers

Tattly
Stay wild, flower child. You could wear a crown this weekend and fall into the sea of other florals in the crowd, or you could rock this flash tattoo that's a bit more colorful. Truth is, you have a bold personality, and your festival style is going to show off your one-of-a-kind spirit. You're really hoping that you'll get in front of at least one camera, but you can't be boring if that's the case. These flowers will bring out all the summer vibes that have been just hanging out during those April showers. They'll have you blooming your best against those ferris wheel backdrops.

7A Tangy Lemon

Tattly
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade — or listen to Beyoncé's Lemonade. That works, too! If you're a serious fan of Queen Bey, or just looking to add something a little fresh to your festival fashion, then this lemon flash tattoo will surely bring on the tang.
The biggest stars have made it to stages like Coachella because they were doing something different. Each has an essence that attracts millions of fans to their social media feeds and stadium shows. Channel all of that in your look, and bring something less basic to live your best festival life.

8A Full Moon

Etsy
Some live by the sunlight, but you'll be dancing until dawn with all of your favorite stars during festival season. The week leading up to the experience of a lifetime, you probably tried to squeeze in a couple extra naps or so. You need all the energy you can get for a weekend of camping in the desert with your crew, and running around the grounds.
You'll spend your afternoons wandering around the fair rides, and maybe try and get into a couple of Coachella parties. You've seen it all on social media, and can't wait to make it your reality. But, without a full moon, you might not feel as daring. So, be sure to scoop this tattoo up sooner rather than later!

9A Palm Tree

Etsy
You have all of your fingers crossed that this is going to be everything you've ever hoped for, and have probably checked to see if all the stars will be aligning in the universe this weekend. But, you don't need bright lights or even a golden temporary tattoo to be glowing for Coachella. You just need a perfect palm tree to remind you to go with the flow, and surround yourself with only the good vibes.
Your experience will go by so quick and you'll want to say yes to every adventure. Packing and picking out looks for the time of your life might not have been such a breeze, but all of the planning is pretty much done by now. Other than getting one of these temporary tattoos for your festival season a little last-minute, you're more than ready to hit the road and get glowing.

Khloe Kardashian & Tristan Thompson's Body Language Was Awkward Throughout Her Pregnancy

By
SHARE
The way that two people interact can speak volumes about a relationship, and Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's body language during her pregnancy reveals loads — which is especially useful when we're all clamoring for answers during Thompson's current alleged cheating scandal. Yesterday, a video surfaced of Thompson appearing to kiss a woman who isn't his girlfriend, and the Internet promptly freaked out. The video emerged as Kardashian's just about to give birth to their child, but was recorded in October 2017 (within the first few months of Kardashian's pregnancy). In the clip, Thompson can be seen canoodling with two women in a hookah lounge outside Washington, D.C. the night before he had a basketball game in the area, TMZ reports. The child Kardashian is carrying is her first and his second.
I spoke to body language experts Dr. Lillian Glass and Blanca Cobb to see if the couple's body language throughout the pregnancy indicated any trouble in the relationship. "She’s usually the aggressor in the relationship, and he probably had enough of it," Glass tells Elite Daily. "She’s always posed, and kind of phony. You can tell that there was tension on his part throughout the months."
Glass took issue with the staged quality of their Instagram shots. “Most [of their photos] are posed and not real, and that can affect their relationship," she continues. "They’re constantly posing, constantly out there. This is foreign to him and difficult to him – you can see the tension in his body language."
Back during Halloween, which would have been soon after Tristan's alleged cheating occurred, the two snapped a picture in their coordinating costumes.
Glass says that this pose – with Khloé standing slightly in front – could indicate Kardashian's control in the relationship – as if she's saying, "I'm in front, don't forget it."
"When two people [in a couple] are not standing side by side, that's not a good sign," Glass says.
Cobb has a sunnier interpretation of the photo. "Tristan and Khloé's stances are mirror images of each other," Cobb tells Elite Daily. "Their left shoulders and legs are leading. Your body language synchronizes when you're emotionally connected with your partner."
A few days after Christmas, Kardashian and Thompson announed their pregnancy on Kardashian's Instagram account. The photo, posted Dec. 20, 2017, shows the two in a front-facing embrace, with both of their arms wrapped around Kardashian's pregnant stomach.
"You can see, it's contrived," Glass says. "Her hands are pulling his up – you can tell if someone's hands are willing to be there. Why aren't there any pictures of the full bodies of them? You don't see that connection – it's very posed, very contrived. You wonder what's behind that."
About the alleged cheating, Glass says, "This is his opportunity to kind of get out – it’s been a long time coming. She smothers him."
Cobb thinks that Kardashian and Thompson both holding their hands over her belly shows what's most important to them — their child. She adds, "Notice that neither Tristan [nor] Khloé's faces are in the photo, a signal that their baby is more important than they are."
The couple rang in the new year with a kiss and holding Kardashian's emerging pregnancy bump. In classic Kardashian fashion, Khloé is still in full glam, rocking black pumps and a skin-tight LBD.
But Kardashian's pose with her NBA boyfriend here, posted on Jan. 2, could mean that there was trouble brewing beneath the surface.
"This kiss isn't much of a kiss," says Cobb. "When a kiss is intimate, then what I call the 'pleasure zones' (pelvic relgions) are close or touch. Even with Khloé being pregnant, they could still get a little closer together. They share a sweet, closed-lip kiss."
Glass agrees the photo is lacking in love. "Basically her hand is on his hand, so she's manipulating his hand, like she probably manipulates everything in his relationship," says Glass. The Kardashians' multi-million dollar brand is heavily curated through appearances, so this, of course, is understood when entering a relationship with one of them.
