American military weapons finding their way into Mexico, where they’re landing in the hands of the Mexican cartels

 American military weapons, including machine guns, have been increasingly finding their way into Mexico, exacerbating violence and empowering drug cartels. The flow of these weapons is facilitated by various means, including smuggling across the porous U.S.-Mexico border.
